We Need to Talk About Power Foundation
AKA The 7/8ths Parallel Leg Trouser & The Pull On A Line Skirt
Hello there,
Apparently it worked!
Not only did it work but lots of you watched it, many of you took the time to give us some feedback and it would appear some of you loved the format; ‘informative, helpful, good to see the detail, helps to answer questions pre purchase’ is snapshot of some of your comments.
So first off, a huge Thank You.
And on that basis, we go again, this week, We Need to Talk About Power Foundation.
Many of you will know, I LOVE this fabric made by Eurojersey in Milan.
I love it because it’s comfortable to wear, it has 25% Lycra (what’s not to love about that), it’s clever, it has a built in body moisture system which keeps you cool in the heat and warm in the cold, all to do with its open honeycomb construction (told you it was clever) and having visited their mill and observed for myself the way in which they put sustainability at the heart of their production cycle, trust me, it’s a very impressive operation.
This fabric was at the heart of the brand when we launched Hope, almost 10 years ago and Foundation was the base around which, everything was built. The Body, The Vest, The Legging and The Long Sleeved T-Shirt were the 4 key shapes in the collection.
Hence my mantra to this day; shower, underwear, foundation, then get dressed!
When I visited the mill a few years later I saw different variations of the fabric and more importantly how it was being used, thus came the next generation for Hope; Power Foundation.
Power Foundation is quite simply 2 layers of the Foundation fabric bonded together, or as Eurojersey would describe it;
Created using a special technique which unites two strands of Sensitive® Classic fabric melding them together, they are perfect for heavier or more constructed garments.
Power Foundation is twice the fabric, twice the hold, twice the comfort.
For Spring we have 2 new Power Foundation shapes, The 7/8th’s Parallel Leg Trouser and The Pull On A Line Skirt, both of which are easy to wear, stylish and so very comfortable.
I do have to acknowledge that both of these styles are at the top end of our price points because the fabric is expensive. That said, consider this is an investment purchase, you’ll be wearing it all year round for years to some, I promise you!
Please watch the video and let me know what you think,

PS you will see there is a PS in the film cause we forgot 3 key points!!
Must try harder! X
Great video and postscript Nayna and Lynda! It really is an amazing fabric x
Very useful! You are both so engaging, making the videos really come alive! Xx
